Southside Daily: Lightbridge Academy Continues Expansion on East Coast with Newest Opening
Franchisees Neil and Jane Yeager gear up for Virginia Beach opening
Lightbridge Academy franchisees Neil and Jane Yaeger are gearing up to open their first center this fall in Virginia Beach. This location will be the first in the state for the educational childcare company as it continues to expand farther outside the East Coast.
“I’m living out my dream right now,” Neil told Southside Daily. “We’re actually the farthest location from their headquarters, so this is a big deal for them as well. We’re hoping to be that flagship office in Virginia.”
The new two-story Lightbridge Academy* center will have ten classrooms, two playgrounds and will be equipped with state-of-the-art systems, including fingerprint technology to access the building and a parent view program where parents can pop in online throughout the day to check-in on their child.
“We want to cater to the military, the medical staff at Sentara for their shifts,” Neil told Southside Daily. “We want to make sure that, as hard as it is for them to drop their kids off, I don’t care if they’re six-weeks or four-years-old, that they actually know they’re going to be in a safe environment.”
