<p>It is called the MVP Experience, and the goal is to treat customers as if they are the star of the team.  It includes a precision haircut, legendary hot steamed towel, massaging shampoo and relaxing neck and shoulder treatment. Of course, we&#8217;re talking about <a href="http://sportclipsfranchise.com/1851?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=sport-clips-franchisees-to-know-matt-kneeland-3526" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Sport Clips</a> here, and owner Matt Kneeland scored big when he decided to invest in Central California as a multi-unit franchisee.  </p>  <p>&#8220;It is nice to build the stores, spend time in the stores, follow up, but not be the guy in the stores running it 24-7. That was very appealing to me,&#8221; Kneeland said. </p>  <p>Kneeland owns ten licenses for Sport Clips locations between Visalia and Modesto. One is in Turlock and two others are in Fresno.  He plans to expand with two more Sport Clips opening in the Fresno/Clovis area.</p>  <p>This full-service barbershop is different than Kneeland&#8217;s last venture, and that&#8217;s what he found so appealing. Kneeland opened a home medical equipment business in 1996 and expanded it to 12 locations between Bakersfield and the Bay area before he sold it. Running the healthcare company was very hands on, and he realized that <a href="http://sportclips.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=sport-clips-franchisees-to-know-matt-kneeland-3526" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Sport Clips</a> could provide him with more structure and freedom.</p>  <p>&#8220;It&#8217;s nice not to have to invent everything yourself,&#8221; said Kneeland. &#8220;In addition to the incredible corporate support, I also have the luxury of seeing other franchisees and their results.  I often exchange ideas with them and get free insight on how they are achieving certain results.&#8221;</p>  <p>The systems already in place for franchisees makes Sport Clips very attractive for those looking to run a business.
