<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/meghanfarrar/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=squeeze-franchisee-joins-the-feel-good-revolution-with-a-location-in-huntsville-alabama-2726145" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Meghan Wells</a> was on the lookout for her next opportunity and was ready to invest in something she believed in when an Instagram ad for&nbsp;<a href="https://www.squeezemassage.com/franchising?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=squeeze-franchisee-joins-the-feel-good-revolution-with-a-location-in-huntsville-alabama-2726145" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Squeeze&nbsp;</a>appeared on her feed. She was immediately interested in the massage concept and was taken by “The Feel-Good Revolution” promoted by the brand. She decided to reach out via Instagram, not expecting much to happen. However, this initial exchange quickly led to Wells’ next big adventure and a complete change of direction in her career path.In college and after graduating, Wells pursued roles within the retail sector before transitioning to real estate.&nbsp;“I was a buyer for some different retail brands and then I moved to Alabama and got into real estate,” Wells said. “I was a director of sales for the past nine years.”However, like many others, when COVID hit, Wells started reconsidering her goals and found herself looking for something new and different. She wanted a concept she could wholeheartedly get behind for her next investment. She found that in&nbsp;<a href="https://1851franchise.com/squeezemassage/info">Squeeze</a>.“I loved the concept and I loved ‘The Feel-Good Revolution’ idea,” she said. “But what spoke to me the most was the way the brand takes care of their employees. They have focused the business not only around the guest, but also the employees. I think a lot of businesses forget that aspect; they have people working for them that also have to be happy.”Wells opened the doors to her Squeeze Massage shop on January 26 of this year in Huntsville, Alabama, and has had no regrets. That’s not to say that becoming a business owner hasn’t involved hard work and dedication.&nbsp;“Finding a location is probably the most challenging part of setting up a business, and it is also hard to realize that the process can take a lot longer than you think,” Wells said. “There are a lot of steps involved, but it all came together.”The complex process was made much easier with the support of the Squeeze corporate team.&nbsp;“I have had so much support every step of the way,” Wells said. “We had weekly or bi-weekly calls in the pre-opening stages. There is a ton of communication. There's a lot of different vendors that help you make decisions on location and metrics. There is a lot of support from the brand to make sure that you're making the right decisions.”Looking ahead, Wells strives to continue to build brand recognition and customer loyalty within her community and beyond.
