Today, <a href="https://techcrunch.com/2018/06/26/the-new-google-maps-with-personalized-recommendations-is-now-live/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=techcrunch-the-new-google-maps-with-personalize-recommendations-is-now-live-2706966" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">TechCrunch&nbsp;announced</a> that Google Maps will now have an &quot;Explore&quot; tab that allows users to learn more about what&#39;s happening in their neighborhood. The mapping tool will also have a &quot;For you&quot; tab that shares restaurant recommendations and offer users&nbsp;the ability to &quot;follow&quot; neighborhoods and an opt-in to receive updates on new restaurants and cafes.&nbsp;

Google is also releasing a feature called &quot;Your Match&quot; which assigns users a rating of compatibility to restaurants and bars based on ones they enjoyed on previous occasions.&nbsp;Future rollouts will include &quot;Group planning&quot; which&nbsp;allows users to create a list of future bars and restaurants that friends can vote on.&nbsp;

Features began rolling out today, but the &quot;For you&quot; tab is only available in the&nbsp;U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia and Japan for now.&nbsp;
