Steve Shields, the company's franchise development manager, mentioned that the brand plans to open another two locations this year and four more in 2016."The demographics are right for the product we have," Shields told the Arizona Republic. <a href="http://smoothieking.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=the-arizona-republic-healthy-food-franchises-expanding-in-metro-phoenix-2066" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Smoothie King</a> is known for its healthy, made-to-order smoothies, which can be divided into four categories: meal replacements, high-protein alternatives, vegan items and slimming-down items.New Smoothie King franchisee Denisse Eddings said that she became interested in opening a Smoothie King after trying the brand&#8217;s product at a Houston store.
