The Roanoke Times: Business Intel: Pita Pit restaurant chain coming to downtown Roanoke
Pita Pit is looking to open in the Roanoke, Virginia area.
National franchise Pita Pit will open its first location in Roanoke, Virginia, this fall downtown in the Signature 9 Gallery space. The brand currently has over 500 locations worldwide, but this will be the first in the Roanoke area.
Attorney Brandy Rapp and George Lemon, both of Roanoke, are the new franchisees for the new Pita Pit location. According to the Birmingham Business Journal, The couple was inspired to open their franchise for the opportunity to work together and because Rapp’s brother-in-law is also a Pita Pit franchisee in Ohio.
Pita Pit offers wraps and pitas with a variety of topping options in a down-the-line fast casual format.
Rapp and Lemon have plans to open the new restaurant early this fall.
