The new location, owned and operated by former Golden Corral franchisee <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/elri-parker-aa363620b/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=toasted-yolk-is-opening-its-first-out-of-state-location-in-dothan-alabama-2716012" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Elri Parker</a>, will be the first <a href="https://1851franchise.com/toastedyolk">Toasted Yolk</a> restaurant in Alabama and the first to open outside the state of Texas.A seasoned business owner, Elri Parker is no stranger to franchising or to the food service industry. He worked as general manager for several years at a Golden Corral in Dothan before ultimately becoming a franchise owner with the brand in 2016. Since then, his restaurant has been in the top 20 best-performing locations for the franchise nationwide. In the search to expand his franchise portfolio, Parker landed on Toasted Yolk.“One day my wife and I were at breakfast in Nashville, and it simultaneously hit us that owning a breakfast restaurant would provide us with better hours in addition to a stronger work/life balance,” said Parker. “After inquiring about Toasted Yolk and speaking with the corporate team, we were sold. This immediately became the franchise we wanted to buy.”Parker’s Toasted Yolk restaurant will open in November of this year at 3070 Ross Clark Circle in Dothan. In addition to offering a new dining option to the local community, Parker will be bringing over two dozen jobs to the local market while serving up all day breakfast and lunch options to the Dothan, Enterprise and surrounding counties.&nbsp;“I want to create jobs for local people, especially after such a horrid year,” said Parker. “This will be the first location outside of Texas for the brand, and I think with this brand concept we will really thrive in the Dothan market. I’m hoping to create a restaurant with quality employees and quality food, and to ultimately open five to six more locations over the next few years.”The Toasted Yolk focuses on providing a unique dining experience through chef-inspired takes on breakfast and lunch classics. The brand allows experienced restaurant professionals and savvy business entrepreneurs to expand into the booming breakfast, brunch and lunch category of the dining industry.&nbsp;Breaking into the state of Alabama is a significant milestone for the franchise which, until now, has only had locations in Texas.
