Franchise Times: Family Sells TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Franchise to Roark’s ServiceMaster Brands
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, the family-owned business established in 1985, is exiting the business officially in sale to ServiceMaster Brands.
In a recent interview with Beth Ewen of Franchise Times, Jon Nobis, CEO of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, shared the recent sale of the 380+ unit moving company. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is a family-owned business that was founded in 1985, and this sale officially ended the family’s involvement with the company.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® was sold to ServiceMaster Brands and its private equity backer, Roark Capital of Atlanta. The family officially exiting the business is a big change, but Nobis is hopeful the company will continue to succeed. “For us, this transition is more about trying to continue down that path and looking at opportunities for additional growth,” Nobis told Franchise Times.
Nobis has been the CEO of the company since June 2018 and will be joining the ServiceMaster executive leadership team. ServiceMaster Brands runs more than 2,100 franchises.
