TWO MEN AND A TRUCK

Holding a leadership position within any company is a thrilling opportunity. But as a leader of&nbsp;a company that places the utmost value on moving people forward, that thrill runs a little bit deeper.

That is the position for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK CEO Jeff Wesley. Wesley understands the example that he sets as leader of a company--especially one in which 75 percent&nbsp;of the current management system itself actually started in entry level positions within the company.

Wesley first joined the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK team as CFO in 2008, and in 2016, he was named the CEO. Upon transitioning into this new title, Wesley understood the role he would play in the orchestration of a brand that held the value of &quot;Moving People Forward&quot; close to the heart of its operations.

&ldquo;I felt so fortunate to have the opportunity to execute this vision that we have as a brand, and to be a part of the excitement&nbsp;that is unfolding at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. We are a family here and each role is important, and I understand the importance of the example I set as a leader within this organization,&rdquo; Wesley said.

Wesley has had many proud moments with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK--such as its 60 percent&nbsp;growth for seven years straight. However, Wesley says his proudest moments have been some of the larger picture ones.

&ldquo;I am proud of the success I have helped set individual franchises up for, and the career development opportunities I have been able to create,&rdquo; Wesley said. &ldquo;That is what motivates me every morning. Sure, you can see it in the numbers, but more than that you can see it in the face of every employee here. They are proud of this family and the opportunity it holds.&rdquo;

Successfully growing and building this family&nbsp;comes through understanding each member, and what is important to them. Wesley advises aspiring leaders to make sure they stay connected with every team member on every level so that it is clear what is working well and what is not. He also advises taking a bigger picture look at the business.

&ldquo;Engagement is everything. This means you are staying in tune with what is important to the business and what is moving the results forward. However, this also means that you are staying in tune with the people--that you are listening to what they are telling you. This is&nbsp;important to making sure they are set up for success and&nbsp;that the brand thrives as a whole,&rdquo; Wesley said.

In order for these individuals to succeed, it is no secret that they look to their leader. No matter the size of the team, Wesley feels that the example that a leader sets for a team&nbsp;is what sets them up to feel great about their individual potential as well.

&ldquo;I tell my own kids every day that they need to believe in themselves, and that is where it all starts. They need to put themselves out there and be willing to make mistakes and grow,&quot; Wesley said. &ldquo;This comes from taking risks and making mistakes in order to pursue their passion and reach their ultimate goal. If they set this example for a team, the rest will follow.&rdquo; 
 
Today, the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK team that Wesley works with is constantly growing, and making moves to set up individuals in the company to do so as well. Each March, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK holds a Career Move Month, during which the company sets massive hiring goals to increase the team nationwide. This March, it was to bring on 1,200 new team members.

&ldquo;With this brand, there is no shortage of places you can go and successes you can have. The path is set, and it is up to me and us as leaders to be good coaches and leaders and cheer everyone on--be that seasoned veterans of the team or new members,&rdquo; Wesley said. &ldquo;I am proud of the fact that people come here for not just a job but a career, and I am excited to continue creating this opportunity for years to come.&rdquo;
