TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is eliminating the need to beat the movers to a new home during a cross-country trip.

Value Flex allows travelers with a flexible schedule the ability to pack their belongings in a storage container and have it shipped to their new address and unpacked at a later date. Traditionally, the local movers would truck the belongings across state lines to the destination and unload it themselves on the same day or next day.

“A lot of customers don’t want their stuff there the next day because their stuff will beat them there,” said Jon Nobis, chief operating officer for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® .

It also eliminates the need to pay for local drivers to make the trip across multiple state lines and back.

Right now, the service is offered between Lansing and Orlando with hubs in Cincinnati and Atlanta. It launched last month and if it is received well, it could grow to other franchises across the country, Nobis said.

“The further the customer is moving, the more likely this service will be beneficial to them,” Nobis said. “It’s convenient and they’ll save on price.”
