What about TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® makes it unique within its industry?

As North America’s first and largest franchised moving company, we have over 30 years’ experience in both the franchising and moving industries and have performed over 7.5 million moves since our inception. We believe this experience, along with the franchise model itself, makes us a unique offering in our space, as we are able to partner with our franchise owners across North American to deliver the best experience to our employees and our customers.

What plans does the brand have in the coming years?

We have a very clear and aggressive vision for the next four years. We are coming off 11 years of growth and are performing over 600,000 moves a year, and all with our highest customer service ever. That said, we realize we must continue to invest in and evolve our brand. So for us, it’s really about continuing to build off of the growth momentum we’ve seen through focusing on our core moving services and making sure the customer experience is the best it can be.

Just as important is the employee experience when joining the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® family. We are continuing to foster an environment of opportunities and building a career within TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® for anyone representing the brand each day. Experiences are critical to our brand and we will continue to invest in new service offerings that our customers have asked for, including adding junk removal services, as well as diversifying our long distance moving and storage services to give more options to customers.

It starts with our environment and the moving industry itself. We operate in a $15 billion industry so the opportunities are enormous for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® and anyone looking to invest in our brand. We also have a proven history of success with our model, given our sustainability over the past 30 years, but still have a lot of opportunity to continue growing market share and serving more customers through that same profitable business model. Lastly, we often say we are a customer service company in the moving industry, but ultimately, we are a people business. The opportunity to help people move forward within their careers while also having the opportunity to help our communities makes this a fulfilling investment, as well as a smart one.

How does TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® support franchisees?

Franchise experience is extremely important to us and that starts with the relationship we work to build with every franchisee within TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®.  We have a team of 200 people working out of our corporate office each day helping to consult and partner with our franchisees on new projects and more impactful ways to serve our customers. More specifically, we have a central consulting team that works to support individual and multi-unit locations. These teams are made up of specialists from key areas of the business but work in conjunction with the franchise, supporting budgets, planning and key investments made in each location.

What does an ideal franchisee look like?

Our ideal franchisee has several attributes we look for. First being, they must passionately buy into our core purpose of helping move people forward. If we align on our values and our purpose, we have a great foundation to build from, together. Secondly, it’s the drive to want to continue growing, changing and working on the brand together. From there, we value the diversity and vast experiences that all our owners bring to the brand each day. It’s what makes our brand great: having a wide variety of experiences all working toward a common goal.
