Move Manager Bill Taylor received the brand's MVP: Moving People Forward Award at its annual meeting.
Hard work and dedication is what makes Bill Taylor of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® an outstanding individual.
Rockford resident Bill Taylor was recently awarded with the MVP: Moving People Forward Award at the brand's Frontline Award ceremony and was nominated by the local franchisee, Cory Christensen.
"We judge everybody by the reply cards — the comment cards — that customers fill out following a move," Christensen said. "Bill's scores were always really high. So, three years ago, we promoted him to move manager."
As move manager, Taylor works with customers and schedules the workers who handle that customer's cherished items — from heirlooms and photographs to furniture and keepsakes. His goal is to keep everyone focused on completing the job efficiently and effectively.
On November 3, Taylor beat out more than 200 managers for the title. He received the top management award at the company's annual meeting in East Lansing, Michigan.
"Moves can be very stressful; the customers can really fall apart," Taylor said. "I just try to keep everyone together and positive, and keep them working together as a team."
