TWO MEN AND A TRUCK

Bob Christensen was drafted into the armed forces of the United States during the time of the Vietnam war but wasn&#39;t in active service. Rather, he worked in two bases within the United States, protecting fellow troops against diseases that may have made their way back to the United States.

According to the Rockford Register Star, after Christensen was discharged from the army, he wanted to go into sciences but the field was not something that was easily adaptable for him. So he went back to school and got his Master&#39;s in Business Administration.

Christensen looked into business ownership opportunities and after his son, Kevin, had several good experiences moving with <a href="https://franchise.twomenandatruck.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=rockford-register-star-us-military-veteran-finds-successful-business-ownership-opportunity-with-two-men-and-a-truck-7608" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">TWO MEN AND A TRUCK</a>&reg;, Christensen saw that the company could be a business venture for him.

&quot;He said we ought to think about that business,&quot; Christensen said. &quot;So I looked into it and it seemed like a good thing to do.&quot;

As a veteran, Christensen is always seeking other veterans to hire. Noelle Burak, franchise development manager for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK&reg; in Lansing, Michigan said the company is focused on hiring veterans this year, now that the military is downsizing.

&quot;We love veterans,&quot; said Burak. &quot;They&rsquo;re very good at following processes and procedures. You teach them what the process is and they follow it. We want to find consistency in the franchise.&rdquo;
