IT Director explains the importance of cyber security at moving franchise
Lansing area businesses have been the victims of many cyber attacks as of late, bringing light to tactics they can use to avoid these breaches.
According to the Lansing State Journal, area organizations such as TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® take precautions such as required training of all staff on the vitals of cyber security. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® IT Director Jake Gaitan explained that the brand feels that the small cost associated with maintaining cyber security is nothing compared to the cost that a hack has on an organization.
"Cybersecurity sounds really expensive, but patches are free and a good firewall is a few hundred bucks," Gaitan told the Lansing State Journal. "What is expensive is getting hacked."
