According to The Springfield News-Leader, when Hurricane Harvey hit the Gulf Coast in 2017, Grant Hornbuckle, owner of Springfield’s TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, knew he had to help. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is the largest franchised moving company in North America. Hornbuckle wanted to use his fleet of trucks to bring supplies to the victims of the hurricane but ran into multiple challenges. That’s when TWO MEN AND A TRUCK discovered Convoy of Hope, a disaster relief program that was able to help Hornbuckle and his team organize their relief efforts. 

"It just bloomed from there," TWO MEN AND A TRUCK President Randy Shacka told the Springfield News-Leader. "When we met Convoy of Hope, we were just — wow, they have this figured out. They have infrastructure. They've got organization. They have logistics all figured out. They've got sites already set up outside of some of these impacted areas.”

Hornbuckle presented Convoy of Hope a check for $51,000 this year, the third consecutive year that the brand presented a check over $50,000. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK has 380+ locations across 45 U.S. states and has performed more than eight million moves since 1985.
