The brand&#8217;s national presence grew with the addition of 18 new franchise locations through the end of June, totaling the number of operating U.S. territories to 317. The brand celebrated its busiest move weekend from June 26 through June 28, seeing nearly 5,400 moves in that weekend alone, accounting for a nearly 7 percent increase in activity over 2014. Of the franchisees in the system, 70% enjoyed record sales for the month of June, due in large part to the capacity and larger footprint of the brand, in addition to its busiest move weekend. &#8220;This quarter was the busiest season in the moving industry and our hard working franchisees and their employees have set themselves up to close out 2015 with strong numbers,&#8221; Randy Shacka, president of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK&#174; said. &#8220;We are working on our vision for the future one day at a time, and our success wouldn&#8217;t be possible without the dedication and hard work of our people on the trucks every day.&#8221; The company&#8217;s performance was solid in Q2, accounting for 18.21 percent growth, as the brand tapped into new markets that included Pasadena, Calif., and Sioux Falls, S.D., marking the 39th state the brand has entered. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK&#174;&#8217;s team is looking forward to further development on both coasts this fall, with additional plans set for Napa, Calif.; Portland, Ore.; and various territories in Maryland. The company plans to award an additional 15 franchises by the end of the year. Aside from expansion, an equally important goal for the company is providing customers with the best service in the industry.
