Too many customers.

That is the rare and desirable problem facing both Jason Washburn and Brittany Ishman, <a href="https://franchise.twomenandatruck.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=two-men-and-a-truck-flourishing-in-the-garden-state-2703963" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">TWO MEN AND A TRUCK</a> franchisees in the state of New Jersey.

&ldquo;We have had better customer response and higher revenue than we had even projected,&rdquo; said Ishman, whose <a href="https://twomenandatruck.1851franchise.com/info/index.html?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=two-men-and-a-truck-flourishing-in-the-garden-state-2703963" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">TWO MEN AND A TRUCK</a> franchise opened in Moorestown, New Jersey in September of 2016. &ldquo;When we first opened up our doors for business, we never could have imagined the overwhelmingly positive response that we&rsquo;d receive from members of our community&mdash;our marketing initiatives have led to record numbers of people calling.&rdquo;

And it isn&rsquo;t as though Ishman came into the business not knowing what to expect, as she opened the location following five years in Human Resources and as a Safety and Risk Manager at the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK home office.

&ldquo;I travelled a lot to different franchises in my corporate position and loved working with those people,&rdquo; said Ishman about what led her to head to New Jersey and start her own franchise journey. &ldquo;I also supported the corporate stores, so I already had experience given that my hand was in a lot of the day-to-day aspects of running the business.&rdquo;

Even though her Moorestown location hasn&rsquo;t even been open for a year, Ishman is already planning to grow alongside the brand with additional units down the line. And the New Jersey market is prime for development&mdash;the state contains 17 additional territories that meet the brand&rsquo;s target demographics. Those markets include opportunities in Sicklerville, Vineland, Camden, Jersey City, Hackensack, Clifton, Ashbury Park, Paterson, Union, Plainfield, Morristown and Wayne.

&ldquo;Our first two New Jersey locations have experienced a huge demand for our services,&rdquo; said Pam Batten, Compliance Director at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. &ldquo;It turns out that the state, although heavily populated, doesn&rsquo;t have many reliable and customer service-driven moving companies. We&rsquo;re happy to step in and meet that need for people across the state.&rdquo;

Jason Washburn began operations just a few months ago when he opened on March 1 of this year in Livingston, New Jersey. And already, Washburn is running into the same phenomenon that Ishman is experiencing&mdash;demand for the quality and reliability of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is at an unprecedented, all-time high.

&ldquo;Business has been wonderful and I am blessed with great customers and staff,&rdquo; said Washburn. &ldquo;Without their help&mdash;along with the support of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK&rsquo;s corporate team&mdash;I never would have been able to handle all of the people who are reaching out about our services. The brand&rsquo;s hands-on approach to helping franchisees and their staff has made all the difference.&rdquo;

Washburn says he believes the early demand comes down to the makeup and geography of the state itself.

&ldquo;It comes down to a few factors,&rdquo; Washburn said. &ldquo;We have a very high population density, very high rate of turnover in the housing market, and finally, there just wasn&rsquo;t a premier moving company with our level of service here before TWO MEN AND A TRUCK came along.&rdquo;

Like Ishman, Washburn also says he&rsquo;s also been in discussions to continue development in the state; a clear indication New Jersey is ripe for additional franchise growth in the years ahead.

&ldquo;The local demand has been great, and one of our locations in New Jersey is also set up to offer our affordable long-distance moving service called Value Flex&reg;,&rdquo; said Batten. &ldquo;We know between the local demand for our services and our new, interstate moving option, New Jersey is only going to continue seeing an influx of needs for our services. We look forward to continuing expansion across the state so every customer will be able to hire us for their move no matter where life is taking them.&rdquo;
