Uni K Wax, the 34-unit waxing franchise that uses a flexible, pine-based wax to provide a better guest experience, is working to grow nationwide. The franchise’s CEO, Heather Harris, who has her fair share of experience rapidly growing emerging brands, says that this differentiator will be a key contributor to Uni K Wax’s upcoming expansion.
“We’ve been around, but we are starting to grow pretty aggressively,” she told Franchise Times in a recent interview. “The business is [at such] a great size where we can kind of test and react in a really meaningful way, and then impact our franchisees.”
While Uni K Wax remains committed to its natural product and high hygiene standards — another part of the experience that elevates the brand far beyond its would-be competitors — there is still plenty of space for leaders at Uni K Wax to innovate.
For example, recently, the brand debuted a membership program that boosts reliable revenue for franchisees while offering guests unlimited access to waxing services of their choice and a special discount on other products and services.
“There’s a lot of opportunity to tell new markets, new consumers, why we’re different and how we’re different,” Harris said. “From a growth standpoint, there’s a lot of opportunity to grow in our existing user base.”
