Before Bob Moore became the Vice President of Franchise Operations for United Water Restoration Group, the home and business restoration franchise with 86 units, he gained over 30 years of experience in the franchise industry. He started his career in the industry working for the Domino’s Pizza corporate team for six years, and then went on to be a multi-unit franchise owner with the brand for the following seven. After working with Domino’s, Moore began working for Service Master as the west coast operations director and also oversaw the brand development for Dunkin’ Brands. A move to Florida to be closer to his in-laws put United Water Restoration Group on his radar.

“In the past, I’ve went to work for these companies that have been around for 70 years and had a huge infrastructure already built, and now I land in this seat, where we’re building the airplane in the air. It’s very exciting and very fun,” said Moore. “It’s like working for a start-up so I love it.”

Moore has big plans for United Water Restoration Group. The brand began franchising in 2015, and when Moore joined the executive team three years ago, it only had 5 franchisees. Since then United Water Restoration has grown to 85-plus units with hopes of adding 40 more to the list this year. Not only has the franchise strived to sign more franchisees, but it has made efforts to ease the process for its clients with new technologies like an app that allows for easier and more convenient payment between the client and franchise owner.

The total initial investment to open and begin operation ranges from $159,342–$441,874. For more information on franchising, visit https://uwrgfranchise.com/investment-opportunities/.
