Franchise owners from across the United States gathered in Orlando, Florida, for United Water Restoration Group’s 4th Annual Owner’s Conference. Held at the scenic Reunion Resort & Golf Club, the event gave UWRG Franchise Owners the opportunity to gain strategic insights, explore emerging marketing tools and connect with fellow operators to exchange best practices.

The conference opened with a lively welcome reception on the evening of May 5, featuring a Cinco de Mayo-themed buffet and panoramic views of Orlando’s fireworks from the resort’s rooftop restaurant. From there, the agenda was packed with educational sessions, expert-led panels and interactive workshops.

Keynotes and Brand Strategy

Day one began with a keynote presentation from BrandBoss CEO Bill Harper, who introduced a refreshed brand strategy for UWRG. His talk focused on the importance of educating homeowners before emergencies occur and positioning restoration companies as a first call instead of relying solely on insurance vendor recommendations. The presentation was well-received and laid the groundwork for deeper conversations throughout the week.

Hands-On Marketing Training

A central theme of the conference was equipping Franchise Owners with practical tools to drive leads and improve marketing performance. The Digital Marketing Panel, featuring leaders from SearchKings, Restoration Digital Marketing and Restoration Growth Partners, gave Franchise Owners a clear roadmap for executing successful PPC and SEO campaigns.

Later in the conference, UWRG launched a new real-time data dashboard that integrates platforms like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, call tracking tools, social media and the company’s CRM system. Attendees saw a live demo and learned how this new platform would deliver location-specific dashboards and company-wide benchmarks to help operators track and improve their performance.

Sales and Field Marketing Expertise

The educational programming continued with sessions from Ricelli Mordecai of Sales Booster Solutions, who delivered an in-depth training on field marketing. Topics included how to manage field marketers more efficiently, increase productivity and maintain accountability across team efforts.

Franchise Owners also attended a session led by Alex Duta of Albiware, who introduced best practices for increasing lead flow and improving operational efficiency as well as a roadmap of the tactical processes of how to become successful in the restoration industry. As the author of “Restoration Millionaire” and an owner himself, Duta brought invaluable insights to the Franchise Owners with real world experience.

Breakouts, Vendor Insights and Celebrations

In addition to keynote and general sessions, Franchise Owners took part in targeted breakouts on topics like accountability habits, employee engagement and invoice optimization. These sessions allowed for smaller group learning and peer-to-peer discussion. Franchise Owners were also invited to a vendor showcase and happy hour to learn about new tools and technologies available to their businesses.

The conference concluded with an offsite dinner at House of Blues in Disney Springs, giving attendees a chance to unwind and enjoy a fun team experience. The final morning included an Advisory Board session to help Franchise Owners reflect on the conference takeaways and plan how to apply them back at their locations.

The 2025 Owner’s Conference reinforced UWRG’s commitment to Franchise Owner success by delivering high-value content, powerful tools and forward-thinking strategies. With new platforms launched and a clear brand direction unveiled, UWRG Franchise Owners left Orlando with momentum and actionable goals for the year ahead.
