Why United Water Restoration Group Is a Recession-Proof Franchise
UWRG’s Vice President of development opens up about how the brand has survived and thrived during times of economic uncertainty.

United Water Restoration Group, the Florida-based franchisor with 86 territories, started franchising in 2015 and is on track to pass the 100-unit mark.
Bob Moore, the Vice President of development and operations at UWRG, recently spoke to the Restoration and Remediation online mag, where he opened up about the brand’s story and how they’ve grown in times of economic uncertainty.
Moore says, one of the many factors that contributed to their growth is how their brand is recession-resistant, so any negative news about the economy, specifically in regards to interest rates and inflation, makes their brand look very appealing.
United Water Restoration Group was founded in 2008 during a hectic hurricane season and a recession, and more than 15 years later, is still seeing continued growth. The brand is looking to add another 60 to 75 units in the next two years.

The total initial investment to open and begin operation ranges from $159,342–$441,874. For more information on franchising, visit https://uwrgfranchise.com/investment-opportunities/.
