&ldquo;The cause of mosquitoes in your yard is mainly due to the build-up of water sources, which is why it&rsquo;s important for homeowners to eliminate the sites where mosquitoes breed,&rdquo; according to Mosquito Joe President Lou Schager. &ldquo;Certain mosquito species&#39; eggs are very resilient and can endure harsh winter conditions and hatch once the weather warms up. As a result, we recommend that our customers walk their property to remove water sources and eliminate the mosquito breeding locations, like standing water found in buckets, toys, tires, and gutters.&rdquo;

&ldquo;Consult your Mosquito Joe technician before you put down mulch in your yard,&rdquo; said Gould. &ldquo;Millions of mosquito eggs can be laid in mulch, which can be hard to spot if you&rsquo;re unfamiliar with what they look like.
