When Vincent and Andrea Adejumo were vetting home-insulation franchise <a href="https://www.usainsulationfranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=why-these-usa-insulation-franchisees-bought-into-the-brand-during-the-pandemic-2718148" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">USA Insulation</a> as prospective franchisees, one question loomed particularly heavily over their decision: would the business stay open? The Adejumos were considering their first foray into franchise ownership in 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, when businesses in various industries across the country were shuttering in compliance with social-distancing mandates. Andrea says they knew quickly they had found exactly what they were looking for.“We moved quickly - the whole process took just about three months,” she said. “We went out to tour the company and meet the executive team and employees. The more we learned, the more we knew that USA Insulation was the right fit for us.”What grabbed their attention first, Andrea says, was the distinct family atmosphere the brand has cultivated both in its internal operations and its client-facing services. “Especially during COVID, it was so important to see how much the team cared and how they supported each other,” she said.&nbsp;Of course, investing in a franchise is a major financial decision in any economic climate, and Andrea says that USA Insulation’s financial fundamentals gave them confidence, particularly compared to other brands they had researched.“The margins were really good,” Andrea said. “I was hesitant to put up such a big chunk of our savings during the pandemic but we saw how quickly we could find a return. Other brands we looked at would take three or four years to break even.”The Adejumos ultimately invested in two territories with USA Insulation, and although they’ve only been open for a few months now, Andrea says the two are already looking towards future expansion.“Our plan is to really get things rolling with our initial territories, then in about three years reinvest in more territories,” she said. “Everyone here is just so helpful, it really doesn’t feel like we are doing this alone.
