Lane Trogdon and partners, who operate Smoothie King at 415 S. College Road, plan to open a second location at 2326 S. 17th St. the first week in July. Trogdon signed the largest-ever franchise agreement with <a href="http://www.smoothiekingfranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=wilmington-business-journal-smoothie-king-is-expanding-to-wilmington-north-carolina-5106" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Smoothie King</a> in 2015, with an agreement to open a total of 55 stores by 2020. He currently also operates stores in Chapel Hill and Norfolk, Virginia.
