Philip Schram, chief development officer at Buffalo Wings &amp; Rings, said he recognizes that potential military veterans could elevate the brand and become successful as franchisees because they are used to following a structured system.</span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style=""><br /></span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style="">Schram knows firsthand what it takes to transition from military service to the service industry. When he was 23 years old, he served in the French equivalent of the U.S. Marine Corp.</span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style=""><br /></span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style="">&#8220;I can certainly relate to veterans looking to get into franchising because we share a similar background,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I understand the culture and life, and I know what adjustments need to be made to run a business.
