Workout Anytime Moves Gym Equipment Outside to Help Members Stay Active Amid COVID-19

The fitness franchise is helping members stay active even while gyms remain closed.

When gyms across the country were forced to close during Phase 1 of COVID-19, Workout Anytime moved its equipment outside to allow members to continue their fitness practices safely.

Vanessa Walker, a personal trainer at the Workout Anytime in Ridgewood Farms, Virginia, tells WFXR how her gym found a clever way to help members stay active while the inside of the gym remained closed.

“Outside was a little bit of a challenge when we started with the Phase 1 mandate,” said Walker. “Luckily, due to the way our building is laid out, the equipment was covered and people were still able to come and get their workout in.”

“We placed the equipment outside in 10-feet of spacing and it allowed people to workout safely,” Walker continued. “We also hosted boot camps and those were a great success as well.”
