Abby Gruber is the director of marketing for FranNet, an organization that provides franchising opportunities and consultation services for some of the most established and emerging franchise brands. Her duties are directly related to the promotion of these premier brands and services, and Gruber has quickly established herself as a marketing professional with invaluable insights for brands to promote themselves in an ever-changing landscape.

Gruber believes franchising professionals should have a flexible mindset. “An important trait that I see for those in franchising is the ability to adapt, especially if you’re working for an emerging brand,” she said.

She also shared her perspective on the franchising industry and how leading candidates in the marketing field can gain an advantage by learning quickly. “Be willing to jump into new projects and figure them out along the way,” she said. “Even if it’s not in your job description, you will learn so much.”
