The Oxford Eagle: Slim Chickens to Make Mississippi Debut

Slim Chickens is about to spread its wings in Mississippi. 

According to The Oxford Eagle, David and Ricky Bagwell have signed on to develop the brand in the state, including in markets such as Oxford. An experienced veteran of the restaurant industry, David Bagwell noted that he was drawn to the brand's focus on high quality chicken. 

“The simplicity of the Slim Chickens concept was very appealing to us and the company shares a lot of the ideals that we have for our personal business,” David Bagwell told The Oxford Eagle.

An Oxford location is in the pipeline to open in the spring or summer months, with a handful to follow in surrounding areas.
