GSA Business Report: Greenville-headquartered ARCpoint Labs Grows in Home State

ARCpoint Labs was recently awarded a five-year, $51 million dollar state contract to provide drug, alcohol and background tests for all state agencies by the South Carolina State Fiscal Accountability Authority. 

According to the brand's CEO, Felix Mirando, ARCpoint Labs was chosen among 12 other companies vying for the contract and the state is currently averaging 400,000 tests per year.
"This will be a game-changer for our industry and it is big because we are a Greenville-based company," Mirando told the GSA Business Report.

ARCpoint Labs takes a "three-legged" approach to the business, which three different divisions handling different components including the ARCpoint Franchise Group, ARCpoint Diagnostics and ARCpoint Occupational Solutions.

"We were able to get aggressive with the pricing," Mirando told the reporter. "We have a third-party entity that can do the billing and our partnerships allowed us to be very competitive and we are saving the state hundreds of thousands of dollars."
