IFA to Host Webinar on New Overtime Compliance Tool

Join IFA President and CEO Robert Cresanti, CFE, on November 1 to learn about the impact new overtime regulations will have on your business.

On December 1, the U.S. Department of Labor’s new overtime regulation officially takes effect. The new rule extends overtime pay to 4.2 million workers across the country by doubling the maximum annual income salaried employees can earn and still be automatically eligible for overtime pay. Before business owners were only required to pay overtime to employees who work more than 40 hours a week and earn less than $23,660. But now, overtime pay applies to employees making under $47,476.

In order to help franchisors and franchisees be in compliance with the new regulations, the International Franchise Association is launching an easy-to-use, affordable web-based Overtime Compliance Tool. IFA President and CEO Robert Cresanti, former U.S. Department of Labor official and Littler attorney Tammy MCutchen and President of ComplianceHR Lori Brown are hosting a webinar to demonstrate how to use the new tool in addition to explaining the impact the impending changes will have on businesses.

The webinar will take place on Tuesday, November 1 at 3:30 p.m. eastern.
