The company saves clients from time consuming and expensive construction projects by refinishing their existing kitchens and bathrooms through innovative and proprietary technology.

Metro West franchisee Ted Fisher has been building houses since he was 12. He joined the <a href="http://www.miraclemethod.com/franchise-opportunity.php?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=franchisee-voices-ted-fisher-of-miracle-method-6366" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Miracle Method</a> team nine years ago and has since expanded his business to six territories in three states. This construction industry vet&rsquo;s success has inspired the brand to focus on expansion in the Boston market in 2016. They plan to add 10 additional locations and 500 jobs to the community.

1851 caught up with Ted to learn more about his background and his plans with the brand.

Tell us a little bit about your background.

I grew up in Georgetown and I have a construction background. I have been building houses since I was 12 years old and have been doing that on and off for 45 years now. After high school, I joined the Army and served in the military for four years. When I retired from the military I came back to Massachusetts and worked in construction. I moved to New Hampshire in 1988 and have been living in Nottingham ever since. In addition to construction work, I own rental units in the area.

Why did you choose to become a franchisee with Miracle Method? How did you learn about the brand?

I was doing some tile restoration work when I happened to come across Miracle Method on an online message board. There were a ton of people asking if there was a way to fix cracks, change colors, resurface, etc. and I had been getting more requests about that too. The concept fit my background to a tee---not only my experience in construction, but my experience in plumbing and electrical as well. Over the years I&rsquo;ve worked as a manager, in sales, and as a contractor so it really just seemed to fit my professional background.

I did some more research and met the team and just thought it was a great company. They have a great corporate structure and support and a good vision for the brand. I looked into some other construction franchises, but it felt like they were just trying to sell units, not really grow a business.

What&rsquo;s next for you and your business? Do you have any development or&nbsp;expansion plans with the brand? 

I own six&nbsp;Miracle Method territories in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts, but I&rsquo;m always looking to expand.&nbsp;I am now semi-retired so it would have to be the right opportunity.
