Paris Baguette, the global bakery café franchise with over 150 locations in the U.S., is looking to grow in South Florida. The brand broke into the South Florida market in February with an opening in Delray Beach, and there are multiple franchise owners working to secure real estate for upcoming development in the Miami area.

“We’ve got a couple of franchisees who are looking hard to find locations,” Chief Development Officer Eric Lavinder told the South Florida Business Journal. “It’s a great market, which makes it hard to find real estate.”

Paris Baguette is also targeting Medley, Pinecrest, Weston and Boynton Beach as they work to establish 40 French-inspired bakery cafés across the state. This growth is part of the brand's larger plan to reach the 1,000-unit mark in the U.S. by 2030.

Paris Baguette’s fresh-baked goods and neighborhood-centric model have set them apart in the U.S. Lavinder noted a few other differentiators that the brand hopes will drive business for franchisees in South Florida.

“It’s a global world and the United States is a melting pot,” said Lavinder. “Paris Baguette appeals to a very wide audience. We have a really diversified brand that brings in people. We have a French-inspired Korean bakery, Italian coffee, health-minded and feel-good options.”
