Pita Pit is looking to expand in the Denver Metro area.

Pita Pit will open in its first location in Denver this July. The new location in the Westminster area will be owned by Andy and Asha Narsai, along with their parents. This will be the brand’s first foray into the Denver Metro area.
"Denver is prime territory for us," Bill Wilfong, vice president of franchise development, told The Denver Post. "We've been real close several times. It's just a matter of having all the pieces come together."
The brand is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and is approaching 600 stores in 11 countries and shows no signs of slowing down. The new location will help with Pita Pit’s expansion plans. Wilfong notes that once a restaurant opens in a market, more franchise inquiries tend to follow.
"People are really looking for four things," Wilfong told The Denver Post. "They want bold and spicy flavors, they want ethnic cuisine, they want healthy and they want it fast. We feel like that's one of the reasons we're growing so fast."
It’s also why the Narsai family decided to join the Pita Pit family. Asha was convinced to buy into the brand after Andy brought her to a Kansas location.
"I really didn't think I'd be convinced," Asha told The Denver Post. "Literally, the first bite, I was like 'Oh my God, we need this in Denver. This is amazing.'"
