The 10 Most Allergy-Friendly Restaurants Named

AllergyEats, an online guide to allergy-friendly dining has released its annual list of chain restaurants that best serve customers with allergies. The results are calculated based on feedback from AllergyEats users. The results are broken down into large chains with over 50 locations and small chains that have under 50 locations. On the list this year is Chipotle Mexican Grill, P.F. Chang’s, Red Robin, Mellow Mushroom and Maggiano’s Little Italy. You can see the full list here.

Study Predicts Alternative Proteins Will be One-Third Of Market By 2054

A study by Lux Research shows that the alternative protein market is booming and has the potential to make up one-third of the protein market by 2054. This will take over as meat and seafood sales slow over time. The study also found that over the next decade, soy could be the leading alternative protein source and could make up over 80 percent of the alternative protein market by 2024.

Choice Hotels Q4 Profits Tops Wall Street Predictions

Choice Hotels reported fourth-quarter profits of $25.3 million. The Rockville, Maryland-based company said it had a net income of 43 cents, while the average estimate of analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research estimated a growth of 38 cents per share.

Jersey Mike’s Partners with 120 Charities for ‘Month of Giving’

For the 5th Annual March “Month of Giving” fundraiser, Jersey Mike’s Subs will partner with 120 local charities. To date the program has raised $5 million for hospitals, youth organizations, food banks and other organizations. The campaign cumulates on March 25 with the Jersey Mike’s “Day of Giving” event where 100 percent of sales are donated to the local charity partner.

Romano’s Kitchen Counter is Expanding to Dinner

Romano’s Macaroni Grill is expanding their Kitchen Counter ordering option to include dinner. The Italian-themed chain announced that it would expand its fast casual counter-style format to dinner guests. The Romano’s Kitchen Counter menu will now be available seven days-a-week and dinner guests can enjoy handcrafted, scratch-made meals for $9 that are delivered within nine minutes.
