McDonald’s Introduces the McPick 2
It’s time to say “so long” to the famous McDonald’s Dollar Menu. That’s because the Oak Brook, Illinois-based chain is replacing the Dollar Menu with the new McPick 2 menu launching in January. This came after franchisees showed their support by voting to adopt it company-wide. Customers will be able to order two menu items for $2, including the McDouble, the McChicken, small fries and the new mozzarella sticks.

Taco Bell Switching to Cage Free Eggs
This Monday, Taco Bell announced that they would be switching to use only cage-free eggs by the end of 2016. This is one of the most aggressive timelines from the fast food chains implementing this change. Currently, Taco Bell sells close to 150 million eggs each year. This shift will be huge for the cage-free industry.

Dunkin’ Donuts Test Mobile Ordering
There are changes happening at Dunkin’ Donuts. The brand has announced that they will begin testing mobile ordering and payment for loyalty club members in Portland, Maine, and offering delivery in Dallas. DD Perks members with IOS smartphones can now download the Dunkin’ Donuts On-the-Go Ordering app, which can be linked to their loyalty card, to pay and earn points on orders. In Portland, the franchise chain will let fans skip the line and pick up their order in a designated location. In Dallas, the brand has partnered with DoorDash to test delivery.
 
Burger 21 Introduces Turkey Burger
Just in time for Thanksgiving, Burger 21 has announced their new turkey decadence burger and pumpkin pie shake. The two limited-time only menu items will be available starting Nov. 21 The burger will include a house-made turkey patty with romaine lettuce, sliced tomato and honey mustard, melted goat cheese and Momma Lynn’s kitchen sink chutney.
 
Epic Meatz are at Papa John’s
Papa John’s has announced a new specialty pizza, the Epic Meatz Pizza. The new offering features Italian meats, premium pepperoni, Italian sausage, Canadian bacon and hickory-smoked bacon. The new Epic Meatz Pizza will be available through Dec. 27, 2015.
