Birmingham —  810 Billiards & Bowling, the six-unit bowling, dining and entertainment franchise, has signed with Birmingham locals Shafiq Samji and Noorudin Dharani to bring the upscale entertainment franchise to Alabama.

“The facilities offer so much to customers, and there is something for everyone,” said Samji. “It will be state of the art. I think people will really enjoy the business, especially at first, because it’s something new to the area.”

After many years of working in the gas station industry, Shafiq Samji recently signed to open 810 Billiards & Bowling in counties across Alabama. Samji and Dharani want to introduce the unique bowling alley concept to people across the state and have plans to open at least eight locations in the near future.

“We are excited to partner with the growth of 810 Billiards & Bowling by bringing the first location to Birmingham and create an eatertainment hub in the community,” said Samji.

According to Michael Siniscalchi, CEO, the company is implementing significant changes as it expands, including a menu update, which Siniscalchi said was made to incorporate more diet-restricted items and more meals made in-house to combat supply issues. Some of the delicious additions guests will see on their new summer menu include taco salad, chicken/bacon/ranch pizza, chicken pesto pizza, wonton tacos, orange chicken, garlic knots, southwest style burger, an Italian BMT and a dip sampler.

With all these exciting things happening within the brand, 810 is ready to bring in new franchisees that can offer 810 Billiard & Bowling’s wide-ranging entertainment and dining options to new areas nationwide.

“We feel that one of the big advantages of our concept is that it's universal,” said Siniscalchi. “Unlike other franchises, we're not a regional food product or service. There's demand for family and young adult entertainment and high-quality food and beverage across the country. That, combined with the fact that we're a younger brand with many territories still available, makes for a great venture for new franchisees.”

The total investment necessary to begin the operation of an 810 BIlliards & Bowling franchise is $1,427,500 to $2,474,000, including a $50,000 franchise fee. For more information on franchising with 810 Billiards & Bowling, visit 810bowling.com/franchising.
