Chris &amp; Tasha Martz&rsquo;s desire to help others has led them to become franchisees with <a href="http://www.rightathomefranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=franchisee-spotlight-chris-and-tasha-martz-of-right-at-home-11183" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Right at Home*</a>.

From a young age, Tasha always had an interest in working with kids. This interest peaked in college when she became an in-home caregiver for children with disabilities. After her college career, Tasha taught regular and special education. &nbsp;

For the last 25 years, Chris has been a pharmacist with extensive experience in working with the senior community.&nbsp; Eventually Chris&#39; career&nbsp;with CVS&nbsp;allowed the duo to relocate to their dream community in Arizona. 

With a growing senior population and demand for in-home care services, Chris and Tasha saw the perfect opportunity to combine their experience and serve their community as franchisees with <a href="http://rightathome.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=franchisee-spotlight-chris-and-tasha-martz-of-right-at-home-11183" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Right At Home</a>.

What were you doing before partnering with Right at Home? 
Tasha- I have my bachelor&rsquo;s in Education from Newman University in Wichita. Then I went on to obtain my Masters from Emporia State University in Instructional Design and Technology. I went on to teach&nbsp;special education courses, primarily working with students with autism as well as teaching 5th grade. &nbsp;I also worked for Pearson as an advisor for graduate students enrolling at Arizona State University. While I was in college, I was an in-home caregiver to children with disabilities. &nbsp;

Chris-&nbsp; I grew up in Kansas City and graduated from the University of Missouri in Kansas City while working for an independent pharmacy. While working with an independent company, we provided a lot of assistance to hospice and nursing home facilities. It was there that I realized the importance of helping the&nbsp;senior population. I have been working for CVS the last 11 years and was able to transfer to Arizona with the company, which has always been a dream of ours. 
 
How did you learn about Right at Home, and what made you ultimately decide to commit? 
We did a great deal of research and Right at Home continued to populate as one of the top choices. We worked with a former franchisee, Tom King, who is a part of the sales team now. Tom made the process so enjoyable and showed us the true face of the company. He is the most kind-hearted and genuine person we have met. We are connected to the grassroots Midwest feel of the brand and wanted to offer that same compassion, integrity and closeness to our clients locally. We have a shared vision with Right at Home to make a difference in the lives of our revered population &ndash; our seniors.&nbsp;

Why is the Scottsdale the perfect market for your Right at Home business? 
We offer service to Scottsdale, Fountain Hills and Paradise Valley. This area, like any in Arizona, is filled with people who need our services. We will go anywhere there is a need.

What&rsquo;s next for you and your business? Do you have any development/expansion plans? 
We are going to go where the need is. We would love to expand and help as many seniors as we can.&nbsp;
