In May, Denny&#39;s launched a new on-the-go option for its&nbsp;restaurants. According to a&nbsp;<a href="http://bit.ly/2vwu1yY?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=nations-restaurant-news-delivery-gives-dennys-a-2q-boost-2703562" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">recent article</a>&nbsp;in Nation&#39;s Restaurant News, this&nbsp;initiative&nbsp;has been lucrative for the brand and contributed to successful earnings in the second quarter.&nbsp; 
 
This &#39;Denny&#39;s on Demand&#39; option gives consumers the ability to place orders via mobile app or on the web. The mobile ordering app was created with the brand&#39;s partner, Olo, and most Denny&#39;s locations have adopted&nbsp;the software.&nbsp; 
 
Takeout is not the only initiative the brand is exploring. CEO John Miller said,&nbsp;&quot;Where available&nbsp;we also launched delivery via Olo&#39;s Dispatched Delivery Network&nbsp;and a number of restaurants have signed separate additional third-party delivery agreements.&rdquo;
