Instagram is not done adding features to its Stories section. According to a <a href="http://adage.com/article/digital/instagram-tests-direct-response-ads-app-installs-stories/309153/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=adage-instagram-tests-direct-response-ads-in-stories-12354" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">recent AdAge article</a>, the photo sharing app is testing direct response ads for Instagram Stories, which will allow sign-ups and app-install ads, along with other formats. One ad being tested for e-payment device company SumUp asked users to swipe up to sign up for the brand&rsquo;s service.

Direct-response ads are yet another category that Instagram hopes to challenge Snapchat in. After copying Snapchat Stories last August and sponsored videos in March,&nbsp;it is no surprise that the battle continues. Brands are testing out ads on both platforms since ads in Stories are considered more enticing.
