Denny’s jumps on the online ordering and delivery trend for restaurants with a new program.

Denny’s has entered the delivery game with “Denny’s On Demand.” According to a recent AdAge article, the chain will be offering online ordering, the ability to order through Facebook and Twitter and new sustainable and microwaveable to-go packaging.
"This provides another business layer for us to expand the Denny's universe," said Senior VP-Chief Marketing Officer John Dillon. "Clearly consumers overall are wanting, expecting, and needing more convenient options across the restaurant industry and beyond."
The announcement does not come as a surprise since visits to full-service restaurants are declining and the demand for delivery is only increasing. Testing from the brand found that consumers do, in fact, want an order of pancakes and a milkshake brought right to their door.
