Amazon announced that the company experienced “record-breaking” sales this holiday season, according to a Business Insider report.

The company did not disclose exact sales numbers in a press release, but it did say that tens of millions of customers signed up for its Prime service, according to the article.

"This season was our best yet, and we look forward to continuing to bring our customers what they want, in ways most convenient for them in 2019," Amazon’s worldwide consumer business CEO Jeff Wilke said in a statement, according to the article.
