Arby&rsquo;s announced a massive development push in South Korea this morning, with 100 new restaurants set to open in the country starting in 2019.

According to a <a href="https://www.qsrmagazine.com/news/arby-s-unveils-100-unit-deal-south-korea?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=arbys-to-bring-100-new-restaurants-to-south-korea-2707585" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">press release published on QSR Magazine</a>, the new restaurants will be opened by S. Fresh Co., Limited, a veteran local operator.

&ldquo;We are excited that S. Fresh will help bring the Arby&rsquo;s brand to new guests throughout South Korea,&rdquo; said Tim Murphy, President and Managing Director of International, Inspire Brands. &ldquo;We know that Koreans will enjoy experiencing the unique flavors, original recipes and a variety of high quality protein choices that Arby&rsquo;s has to offer.&rdquo;

The new locations are not the brand&rsquo;s first in South Korea, but they do represent the largest single development deal the franchise has struck in Asia.
