Arby’s to Bring 100 New Restaurants to South Korea

The development deal is the franchise’s largest-ever expansion push in Asia.

Arby’s announced a massive development push in South Korea this morning, with 100 new restaurants set to open in the country starting in 2019.

According to a press release published on QSR Magazine, the new restaurants will be opened by S. Fresh Co., Limited, a veteran local operator.

“We are excited that S. Fresh will help bring the Arby’s brand to new guests throughout South Korea,” said Tim Murphy, President and Managing Director of International, Inspire Brands. “We know that Koreans will enjoy experiencing the unique flavors, original recipes and a variety of high quality protein choices that Arby’s has to offer.”

The new locations are not the brand’s first in South Korea, but they do represent the largest single development deal the franchise has struck in Asia.
