The <a href="https://patch.com/new-york/astoria-long-island-city/sobol-acai-bowl-franchise-open-first-nyc-location-astoria?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=astoria-patch-sobol-acai-bowl-franchise-to-open-first-nyc-location-in-astoria-2707198" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Astoria Patch</a>&nbsp;detailed Keegan and his business partner Seth Newman&#39;s vision for their Astoria location opening on July 24 at 25-04 Ditmars Boulevard.&nbsp;

&quot;We want it to feel localized, not like a huge franchise,&quot; Keegan said. This being&nbsp;SoBol&#39;s first location in the area, &quot;it&#39;s kind of a fresh canvas to paint.&quot;

He looks forward to bringing health-focused food choices to the area including smoothies, acai bowls and kombucha. The pair has goals of opening new locations throughout New York in as little as eight months.&nbsp;
