Smoothie King franchisees have seen success in Austin and plan to open six more locations.
Smoothie King has been working to develop its presence in the Austin area and, with room to add six locations in the market, does not plan to stop any time soon.
According to the Austin American Statesman, local franchisees in the market are largely contributing to growth, with recent location openings and many more in the pipeline.
“Because local residents in the greater Austin area are very health conscious and active, Smoothie King is the perfect brand to expand here,” Smoothie King Franchisee Jamie Joyal told the Austin American Statesman.
The Austin suburbs are very family-oriented, making the Smoothie King concept a great fit for customers of all ages to take on the go.
“We handpicked the Westlake, Bee Cave and Lakeway area because we fell in love with the schools, the people and the opportunities available for our kids,” Smoothie King Franchisee Michelle Hydes told the Austin American Statesman. “It was a big move for our family, but we are grateful that the community has embraced Smoothie King and has made our American dream possible.”
