BALedger.com: Slim Chickens opens its doors in BA

The Broken Arrow, Okla., community may have many options when it comes to chicken restaurants; but Slim Chickens, a better-chicken fast casual restaurant based out of Fayetteville, Arkansas, opened its first corporate location on Monday to show the community that it is possible to reimagine chicken.

"Our customers will find that our products are markedly better than a lot of the competition that's out there," Slim Chickens Co-Founder Tom Gordon told BALedger.com. "We take a lot of pride in making things from scratch."

Slim Chickens has three locations in the Oklahoma City area and another in Stillwater. The brand is excited to move into the Tulsa area and expand its overall presence throughout the state.

"This is a natural progression for us," Gordon said. "Broken Arrow is a great community for our brand."

Slim Chickens offers chicken tenders, Buffalo wings, chicken & waffles and salads, among other delicious items.
