Batteries Plus Bulbs Appoints Cabela’s Veteran Scott Williams as New CEO
The former president of outdoor sporting goods chain Cabela's takes the reins at electronics franchise.
Batteries Plus Bulbs has named their new CEO as former Cabela’s president Scott Williams, according to an article on Chain Store Age. Williams brings six years of experience in the sporting goods segment, and has “over 25 years in retail and e-commerce where he held senior management positions with leading companies,” the article said.
Williams will replace interim CEO Tom O’Hare, Batteries Plus Bulbs’ previous COO, the article said. “O’Hare will continue to be involved with the company as a board member, advisor, and shareholder,” according to the article.
