EAST LANSING, Mich. — As BIGGBY® COFFEE, the 440+ unit high-energy coffee franchise, crosses the halfway mark of 2025, the brand is celebrating a season of meaningful momentum with three locations per week scheduled to open up over the next eight weeks. BIGGBY® is also investing in its future through a continued focus on delivering meaningful value through quality products, memorable experiences, and a welcoming, people-first atmosphere in every shop.
“As we look at the first half of this year, I’m proud of how BIGGBY® Nation continues to live out our purpose — not just in our shops, but in the communities we serve and the lives we touch,” said Mike McFall, co-founder and co-CEO of BIGGBY® COFFEE. “Whether it's uplifting a team member, supporting a local organization or helping a franchisee pursue their dream, every moment of connection matters. Our success is rooted in growth and owning our impact, and I believe that when businesses are built to serve people first, remarkable things happen.”
The franchise kicked off the second quarter with a throwback celebration in honor of its 30th birthday, offering 95-cent Caramel Marvels to fans across the country.
BIGGBY® COFFEE also introduced a refined visual identity — not a full rebrand, but a thoughtful evolution that leans further into what the brand has always stood for. The logo remains unchanged, while the updated look includes a refined color palette, a modernized font system, a refreshed photography style, and a bold new tagline: BIGGBY® Makes it Better. The refresh is rooted in co-founder Bob Fish's long-held belief that guests should always leave a BIGGBY® COFFEE shop feeling better than when they walked in.
This brand refresh rolled out alongside craveable LTOs and seasonal promotions, such as the popular $2.49 iced coffee deal, designed to offer guests more ways to enjoy great coffee at an approachable price point.
“We know customers are looking for value right now,” said Erin Kaylor, president of BIGGBY® COFFEE. “Our iced coffee promotion gives people an affordable and delicious way to enjoy summer with us — and it’s just one example of the value we’re focused on delivering. Between our everyday menu, exciting limited-time offerings, and commitment to quality, we’re creating a fun, flavorful experience that keeps guests coming back. It’s not just about great coffee — it’s about making every visit feel like it was worth it.”
Kaylor was named president this year after serving as the company’s chief financial officer. She brings a strong background in finance and franchising, along with a deep commitment to supporting franchise owners and enhancing the customer experience.
“Having the opportunity to lead an organization I’ve grown so passionate about is really exciting to me,” Kaylor said. “I've only been here for about a year and a half, but what I truly love about our company is the way that we always put people first. Whether that's our staff or our franchise owners, our customers and our suppliers, we're focused on creating something positive and human-centered at every level.”
BIGGBY® COFFEE’s development efforts are focused on values-aligned growth — supporting franchisees who share the brand’s mission and are invested in their communities. New locations are opening both in established markets and emerging areas, with an emphasis on sustainable expansion over rapid scale.
“Every new location represents a real person and a real dream,” Kaylor said. “We’re working hand-in-hand with our franchisees to build something meaningful in every community we enter.”
Staying true to its core values, BIGGBY® COFFEE remains committed to transparency, long-term franchisee success, and revolutionizing coffee sourcing through its Farm-Direct program. The company aims to achieve 100% Farm-Direct sourcing by 2028 and reached a major milestone in August 2024, with 50% of all coffee bought across the system sourced directly from farmers — reinforcing its dedication to ethical partnerships and environmental stewardship.
Launching into the second half of 2025, BIGGBY® COFFEE remains focused on strengthening franchisee support, helping owners achieve a healthy return on investment, and creating meaningful, uplifting experiences for guests — all while staying true to its people-first values.
“We’re building a legacy,” McFall said. “We believe in leading with love and showing up for our communities day in and day out. That’s the story behind our momentum, and it’s made possible because we’re still privately owned. Unlike many of our competitors backed by private equity or corporate interests, we’re accountable to our franchise owners, baristas, and customers — not Wall Street.”
