Bojangles’ Inc. has hired former Krispy Kreme executive Jackie Woodward as its new chief marketing officer, according to a Nation’s Restaurant News report.
Woodward starts her new job on April 8, and she will work alongside Randy Poindexter, whom she is replacing, according to the article. Poindexter will retire later this year, according to the article.
“While replacing a marketing professional of Randy Poindexter’s caliber was a challenging task, we believe Jackie is the right growth-oriented marketer to lead the Bojangles’ marketing team going forward,” Bojangles’ CEO José Armario said in a statement, according to the article. “The Bojangles’ brand is recognized for its pioneering, innovative, engaging and memorable marketing campaigns, and we plan to continue our unique approach to reaching consumers with Jackie at the helm.”
