OLIVETTE, Mo. – The Brass Tap, the award-winning upscale American tavern franchise with more than 50 locations, continues to grow in the St. Louis area with its Olivette location at 9091 Olive Crossing, Suite 100. The restaurant opened in March under franchisees Kush and Prapti Patel.

Olivette is the first step in the Patels’ plan to open five The Brass Tap locations in the St. Louis area. Kush grew up around his family’s liquor business, and Prapti brought restaurant and corporate IT experience. After getting married, the couple began looking for a business they could build together and found a fit in The Brass Tap’s mix of craft beer, a full dining menu and a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere.

“St. Louis loves beer, so something that’s a bar restaurant like we wanted, plus this emphasis on beer: The Brass Tap just seemed perfect,” Kush said.

The Patels have already signed a lease for their second location in Crestwood, continuing their St. Louis-area development.

“Kush and Prapti are building exactly what we hoped for in St. Louis,” said Chris Elliott, CEO of FSC Franchise Co. “Olivette set the foundation, and we’re excited to support them as they grow The Brass Tap across the region.”

The Brass Tap is part of FSC Franchise Co., a restaurant franchise group that also includes Beef ‘O’ Brady’s and Newk’s Eatery.
