Because he has stuck to the tried and true philosophy that the customer always comes first.&nbsp;“My sole goal is to please the customer,” said Javid.1851 Franchise spoke with Javid about his journey into franchising and his plans for the future.&nbsp;PROFILE QUESTIONS1851 Franchise: Frame your personal story for us.&nbsp;What did you do before franchising, and how did you decide franchising made sense for you?Javid:&nbsp;I owned a pizza parlor across the street from the new location of my The Brass Tap franchise for 35 years. I'm very familiar with the bar concept and industry because, in addition to selling pizza, we also sold beer. with 14 beers on tap. I always wanted to scale my pizza parlor and grow my business with a greater focus on the bar industry. That was when I found this opportunity with The Brass Tap.1851: What was your perception of franchising prior to becoming a franchisee, and what do you want people to know about franchising now that you are in it?Javid: The possibility of being successful with a franchise concept seems to be about four or five times more likely than doing it on your own. Independent business ownership can be stressful and causes a great deal of headaches. You can encounter so many problems when you are doing it on your own, but with franchising, you have support in place.&nbsp;1851:&nbsp;What made you pick this brand? What excites you most about this company?Javid:&nbsp; I did a lot of research about the brand, and it had a lot of positive reviews and feedback. I loved the atmosphere of The Brass Tap and the taste of the food. The concept was solid.&nbsp;1851:&nbsp;What do you hope to achieve with your business? What are your plans for growth?&nbsp;Javid:&nbsp;In opening a restaurant, I will always be striving to improve to make it better and better. I feel the need to take care of the customers and be loyal to them, providing them with a nice atmosphere and good food.&nbsp;One year after my first location is open and running, I will be searching for another location.1851:&nbsp;What is the one thing about your story you want us to know?Javid:&nbsp;I have 35 years of experience in the restaurant business, and my previous ventures have been very successful.
